Curlew at Morfa Aber Nature Reserve

Curlew at Morfa Aber Nature Reserve

Location: 3 Station Rd, Llanfairfechan LL33 0LB, UK

The tidal estuaries between Bangor and Conwy is an ideal place to see wading birds. The winter months can be particularly good for large flocks of birds.

There is a public bird hide at Morfa Aber where you can sit and relax whilst watching flocks of curlew, widgeon, and ducks. If you're lucky, you might also catch a glimpse of the kingfisher or otters as the feed in the fresh water pools.
